Employee Spotlight: Ben Kraft
Say “Hello” to Ben Kraft! Odds are, if you’ve worked with OSI before, you’ve worked with Ben. He’s spent 11 years at OSI and wears a lot of hats. Ben is the Team Lead of Furniture Installs, Shipping and Receiving, Office Supply deliveries, Building Maintenance, Vehicle Maintenance, and Warehousing. In addition to all of that, Ben is also OSI’s Associate Designer, supporting the sales staff with office design layouts, 3D renderings, contract bids, and onsite consultation. It’s safe to say that Ben is a busy guy!
Working for Office Specialists
For Ben, every day is different. “Variety,” is what Ben calls the average day at OSI. Depending on the day Ben could be installing furniture onsite, helping to make supply order deliveries, or designing OSI’s next project. Ben’s favorite thing about his job is working with customers. “Our customers are always happy to see us,” said Ben.
A Little More About Ben
Ben and his wife have been married for 11 years and are raising two young boys, two and six years old. As a family they enjoy swimming at the pool, racing Hot Wheels, carpet farming, visiting family, and going to church. Faith plays a big part in Ben’s life. Ben says if he were stuck on a desert island that he would bring a Bible for hope and peace, and that one of his favorite places to be is in a deer stand “enjoying God’s creation.” As a family, the perfect vacation is a cabin in the woods, on a lake, with plenty of space to fish, swim, explore, and relax.
