Illinois Cancer Center
We are proud to work with some outstanding organizations throughout our local area. Illinois CancerCare, P.C. is one of them. Patients who have cancer or blood diseases throughout the state rely on the Center for state-of-the-art treatments to help them fight diseases. The organization’s staff works tirelessly to provide each patient with comprehensive and compassionate care to help enhance their lives.

The Center’s doors have been open since 1977, beginning with just one doctor, Dr. Stephen Cullinan and his clinic in Peoria. Since then, it has expanded to include more than 17 physicians, 15 nurse practitioners, and 10 nurses on staff. With 13 clinic locations throughout the state (Galesburg, Pekin, Kewanee, and more), treatment has become more convenient than ever.

All stages of various types of cancer are treated, including but not limited to:

  1. Gastric Cancer Stages
  2. Ovarian Cancer
  3. Lung Cancer
  4. Breast Cancer Stages
  5. Skin Cancer
  6. Melanoma

Palliative care is also available and can provide patients with specialized treatments, patient-guided plan of care, and more.

In addition, the Center has a commitment to research. More than 8,500 of its patients have participated in the Center’s research studies. In 2007, the Center was recognized with an award for being one of the top 10 community research centers in the nation.

Together, they have more than 50 years of combined experience. More information on the organization’s doctors can be found on its website.
